Dipesh Gupta

Dipesh is Founder & CEO of Shashi.ai. In 2019, Dipesh, along with his brother Manish Gupta, co-founded the technology startup, to develop a cloud-based, state-of-art, customer experience and relationship management platform powered by artificial intelligence. As technology continues to have a profound and growing impact on how customers live and work, Dipesh believes that hospitality is ready for major disruption. Dipesh is also the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Techne Infiniti, a venture fund focused on investing in next-generation hospitality technology startups and platforms.In 2005, Dipesh co-founded Shashi Group, to own and develop a portfolio of premium hotels in irreplaceable locations in the heart of Silicon Valley, such as Apple and Google HQ. Prior to Shashi, Dipesh was Director of Global CRM Solutions at Oracle where he helped several Fortune 100 high-tech companies develop and implement digital transformation strategies, such as EMC, Sun Microsystems, Applied Materials, AT&T, GE, and Honeywell. Previously, Dipesh was Director of e-Business at Fleet Boston Financial, now Bank of America, where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging technologies to create new products for transformational growth in the payment and card business. In this role, Dipesh developed and launched Fusion, the first Visa smart card in the US with a multi-application, microprocessor chip on the card with payment, loyalty, and access applications. Dipesh started his career in artificial intelligence, data warehousing, and developing data-driven marketing strategies.

Dipesh holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from Lerner Business School. Dipesh lives with his wife and two daughters in the Bay Area, and enjoys hiking, travel, and California reds.
